ISamuel 18 : 10 – 11
“The very next day a tormenting spirit from God overwhelmed Saul, and he began to rave in his house like a madman. David was playing the harp, as he did each day. But Saul had a spear in his hand, 11.and he suddenly hurled it at David, intending to pin him to the wall. But David escaped him twice.”
If you read down to verse 14, the Bible says that David continued to succeed in everything he did for the Lord was with him.
So you may be like David today, someone out there hates you so much, they can’t just stand you and the things you do. Hmm… They even become afraid of you. Like Saul became afraid of David in verse 12 of this chapter, he knew God was with David. But they don’t show their fear and insecurity. All they do is constantly irritate you, badmouth you, defame you and set traps for you.
Hehehe… lol… But Just like David escaped the spear of Saul, you will always escape the spears of your enemies in whatever form, if you dwell in the Lord.
The Bible says in Psalm 91:1 “He who dwells in the secrete place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty” He is your shield and strength. He will always protect you.
Psalm 121:4 says He, (GOD) who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep… He watches over you, He watches your every move and He works behind the scenes of your life, working things out in your favour. Hallelujah!
So you just need to focus on your purpose, on your life, on your work etc… God is watching and no matter how hard haters or enemies try to pin you down with a spear, you will always escape.
Psalm 5:12″For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield.
May the Lord bless you more.
